Husband and Wife Team Emile and Michan Conradie

Emile and Michan have had an adventurous life, spending time in Angola, where they lived and worked and submerged themselves in the culture of the country. The challenges they faced in their jobs steered them to be solution-driven and innovative in establishing business processes to assist their employers and themselves. As they gained experience in developing these processes, a passion developed to implement and educate custom system solutions.

Armed with this knowledge, great attitude and years of business experience, they returned to South Africa in 2018, settled in Somerset West and searched for the perfect business to fit their set of expertise.

They purchased a successful pool maintenance business and renamed it Clean My Pool to celebrate the fresh, exciting energy they wanted to bring to the business as entrepreneurs. The staff brought their experience and loyalty with them on their new journey.

One of the most important things that set Emile and Michan’s business apart is their absolute transparency. They can view their business and service from a consumer’s point of view, as they understand the importance from their own work experience. They know what consumers need, what their standard should be, and which challenges may come their way.

Emile is very serious about customer service and emphasizes that to his team. He prides himself on building professional relationships with clients as well as delivering honest, top-quality service. His willingness to collaborate and learn from others is quickly making him an expert in his field and it is important to him to pass this knowledge on to his clients. It is all about empowerment.

Michan is the extrovert and driving force behind innovation in the company. She, too, values knowledge and aims to implement what she has learnt in their business. One of the wonderful things already working for them is the new service data capturing app they use. The idea behind Fulcrum was to let technology work for them and give their clients extra peace of mind by supplying real-time feedback and photographs.

As an unstoppable team, their goal is to revolutionize the pool industry. Their mission is to standardize the processes to benefit the industry as a whole while providing each client with a consistent high level of service.
